The time after work ceases
When you stop working with your current sponsor, there is a period in which to sort things out — find a new employer, move to another visa, or leave Australia. The new employer must redo the nomination
Changing sponsor is not just up to you. The new employer must be an eligible sponsor and re-nominate the position for you — like at the start, but you do not need to lodge a new visa 482 if you stay within the same visa type. The new position must still be in the right occupation on the applicable list.
